RecommendedHard to overstate how magnificent Rancho de San Juan is. The peace and serenity...the beautifully appointed suites...and the attention to detail by the staff. But mostly the other-worldly caves on the property carved by Ra Paulette. Jill, the proprietor @RdSJ is a wealth of knowledge with a deep connection to the land, the history and her time spent with Ra personally. She shares it all happily.
A wonderful serene resort for relaxing with your significant other! Would also be great for a small family reunion or business retreat. The staff is great, leaving you alone unless you need them. The Cave is a must see, and the addition of a "singing crystal bowl" session was over the top. There's a GREAT kitchen to use in the awesome Main House. This lodge is set in a beautiful desert landscape. They focus on relaxation and healing through sound and spiritually. The resort owns and allows access to one of the famous Ra Paulette's hand carved sand caves. This is an amazing experience that I would recommend to everyone and anyone. There is a brisk hike to the cave, so this does require a minimum level of physical fitness (I'm overweight but I managed it just fine and my 13 y/o daughter breezed up it.) This retreat property is more than just a cave. There is lodging as well as mental & spiritual healing energy all around. I was pleasantly surprised by the tour from start to finish. "M" was a fantastic guide and musical inspiration. I would highly recommend it! ~Rio~
