To make a long story and terrible experience short.... My wife and I were traveling through New Mexico. My wife had heard of the cave artist featured here and had been interested in seeing the caves and his work for years. We were driving through and did not have internet access but called Origin on a whim. Jason sold us on a 2.5 hour romantic couples tour of the caves for $300 and another ~$250 for a room, including a sound bath experience. It was steep but a once in a lifet...Continue Reading

I really wanted to love this place and give the Ra Paulette hike a chance. Unfortunately, my husband and my experience with Jason and Jill proved less than savory and has led to a much bigger battle of us trying to get our money back for an experience they misinformed us about, we weren’t able to experience and then they routinely would not get back to us to remedy the issue as they had promised.

I can't say enough about the time I spent at Origin! The staff was so kind and nurturing. The food was amazing, and my room was beautiful. I loved touring the cave and listening to Milana play the musical bowls while we were inside. The yoga practice outside overlooking the valley was awesome. Jill also conducted a healing meditation and labyrinth walk. The sky was so beautifully dark that I was able to show off the moon, Jupiter, Venus and other beautiful bright spots to everyone there. I would love to go back someday and do... read more

My dad and I came here to see the caves sculpted by Ra Paulette. It was pretty awesome. The cave that we got to go to was nothing short of a work of art. Labor of love status for sure. The ranch itself seems to be a great little retreat. Lots of places to reflect, meditate or do yoga. The day tour is $85 per person for few hours, it includes some local history, cave tour with singing bowl performance and some snacks. Our tour guide Sky was knowledgable, courteous, and friendly. Great Job everyone!! Sent from a 12th man

My recent experience on the cave tour (we did not stay here but considered scouting it out for a future trip) was such a disappointment & wrought with problems! One reviewer on Tripadvisor summed it up mostly about customer service but I will elaborate a bit more (Tripadvisor would not publish my review stating that no such business is listed on their website)!. My trip to New Mexico (Abiquiu area) was planned for months. Came upon the Art Cave business at the last minute and...Continue Reading

Somebody should have a chat with reservations about customer service. At non-refundable rates of $380 per person a night, I expect professional correspondence and courteous responses. It seemed to be one step above snap chat with incoherent and incomplete sentences, let alone a rinky dink reservation system. At these prices, you have to step it up a notch (or ten) in order to be competitive.

We purchased a $500 gift certificate for our daughter and son-in-law and were assured that their night would be an all inclusive experience. Meals were advertised as gourmet, but were not prepared on site and were served in styrofoam containers. In addition, they were charged an additional $70 for the singing cave tour. The facility is lovely, but it is definitely not a good value and not recommended.
