I thought the bartender/waiter could have come around more often, wasn't busy there...got our tickets mixed up on the food.

WAY TOO SLOW for LunchI have given Orenco Station Grill multiple chances over weekday lunchtime, as it is a good mid-way location to meet colleagues between offices. After my service today, I am DONE. The menu is good for lunch. It is not fancy, but decent. However the service, for very basic things, like a turkey club and cup of soup (with only a few tables in the whole restaurant), takes way too long. I love the food, but the service in the outside area sucks. This past Sunday was my 3rd visit and each time I had the same waitress. The first 2 times I gave her the benefit of doubt that she waited on other people who came in after my friend and I. 3rd time I really felt discriminated against because 3 couples got waited on well before my friend and I. I went in to complaint and the waitresses from the inside made sure we got got our food and took really good care of us. I think I'll just order to go if I go back.

We just discovered this restaurant at the beginning of the summer. After having a couple unpleasant experiences at the steakhouse we'd been going to before we set out to find a place that wouldnt let us down in regard to quality of food prep, staffing professionalism, and ambiance. After a few places we lucked onto Orenco Station grill. We have had a big birthday party there, a big family dinner, and we go there for our private date nights. Stopped in last night for diner and drinks. I ordered the braised beef with mashed potatoes and carrots. It was delicious and I look forward to coming back.
