In calling to inquire about services for my father, they asked for my name and ss# immediately- no HELLO. Just, “can I have your full name and social security number?” I answered, “No, because …” click. They hung up on me when I was trying to explain I was calling for my father. They don’t need my ss#, they needed my Dad’s, but they didn’t wait long enough to get it! .
I attempted to use the VA app to schedule an appointment here. I received an error message which indicated that I needed to call the phone number to schedule. I called the phone number to schedule and they're closed, but have no voicemail system or anything else to take your request. The phone line simply hangs up on you after saying they're closed and to call back during their open hours. You must call Monday - Friday between 8am - 415pm, or else you won't be able to schedule any appointments.
Incredibly friendly staff.
The providers and pharmacist (Dr. P and Dr. K) are great! The facility is nice. The lab staff is friendly, fast, and accommodating. They saw me after an appointment, even though they were closed (they close earlier than the rest of the facility), just so I wouldn't have to make another trip. Trying to get anyone on the phone...ugh. Not fun. Not a reflection on this facility or staff, though. I recommend using secure messaging on myhealthevet when possible.
The staff and doctors are excellent and take the time to understand and inform. 5 Stars Getting through the call center is another issue though. 1 Star, not to do with this facility.
