Their battery tester doesn't charge the battery. They use it to sell you batteries. My lights were left on and fully discharged my battery. I brought it to charge the next day and their machine said the battery was bad after a 15 minute charge. I have an expensive charger at that I used to charge the battery. Retesting after charging at home tests as good on the oreilley tester.
Came in today to get my battery tested. Alex helped me, and he was super knowledgeable. He helped me figure out exactly what was going on. After standing out in the wind for a while, he got the new battery super secure and the connections nice and tight, which had been one of the issues. She started up right away with no issues! It was nice talking with him as he was installing it. Thanks for your patience and hard work Alex!

Every time I go into O’Reilly Auto Parts, the employees are super helpful and patient, especially when I walk in knowing absolutely nothing except ‘my car is making a weird noise.’ They’re always willing to look things up, explain parts without making you feel dumb, and help you get what you actually need. Fast service, friendly people, and way less intimidating than most auto parts stores.
