RecommendedI was in Carrollton today when my car wouldn't start. I was so hoping it was the battery & not the starter. I got a young man to jump start it(I have jumper cables) & when we got it started, I was reasonably sure it was the battery. The one in it had been there a really long time. I headed to O'Reilly's & sure enough, when they tested it, it was the battery. I told the young man who tested it to go get one. Nelson is a very rude and disrespectful employee. My husband, my children and I stopped in tonight because our car was making a noise. Nelson wasn’t very helpful or knowledgeable informing us that this was his part time job and we were “wasting his time” when trying to figure out what bolts were needed to fix the car in order to make it home safely. I have always loved oreillys but I would rather go to advanced than to have to deal with Nelson again. I hope he’s better at his full time job than he is here.
I am 78 & live alone...I went to O'Reilly's for a part for my 2006 Volvo and the young man named Christopher went far & above the call of duty.....not only did he order the part,told me when it would arrive,but offered to replace my worn out part for free...then also helped me with another small issue I had & advised me on another.....next day replaced it before you can say Bob's your Uncle.....all with a smile.......incidentally all smiling faces & folks even took time to pet my little Winnie.....neat folks.......wonderful ... read more
