I love the Eagle River store! I was very impressed and appreciative of "Nathan" who was eager to help me with my situation. He is of the younger generation and I overheard him ask each customer if they were military! I showed him my radiator cap and asked him he could tell tell me if I needed a new one, he not only confirmed my suspicions but also took that extra step to show me how I could tell myself! I'm military and I've been going here since the store opened. While not every item receives a military discount, I've never experienced being ignored/disrespected. Don't know what the hell tundradog06 is talking about, sounds like a self-entitled veteran. Great store, helpful staff, better prices than other stores in eagle river.
Note to Military Users, Reilly's does not give a true military discount on all items like NAPA or Carquest. The Eagle River Alaska store has a group of young employees and appear to resent the military and pretty much ignores you when you ask for one. I personally wrote the company and received a party line answer, "we have implemented a military account at each of our locations; upon verification either through ID or last 4 numbers of the SSN the military discount is automatically calculated by our point of sale system; thi... read more
