I agree with the negative reviews here. Very poor bedside manner, my appointment with her was more lecture than diagnosis. I'm not sure she was even listening most of the time. I'll make sure I or my family don't see her again.

I'm switching PCPs because I've literally been avoiding annual visits so that I don't have to go and see her. I've had about 3 appointments over a few years, and while I feel like she's *trying,* her bedside manner really just does not jive with me. I've felt judged ("you're waiting a few years from NOW to have children??"), dismissed, and just generally turned off by her brusqueness. Making a change today!

Dr. Pollack was great. I don't like to take medication if I don't have to and Dr. Pollack is completely on board with that - She'd rather make sure the medications will help instead of blindly prescribing them. I appreciate that very much! She listened to my issues and provided possible resolutions before we do more testing. I became faint and she provided me with water and cool cloths to help me move past it. Great bedside manner, kind, and understanding. Provided lots of valuable information.

Avoid this doctor at all costs. The other poor reviews here are spot on. She does not listen to the things that you came in for nor take you seriously. Ive had the unfortunate experience of seeing her a couple of times and I will no longer subject myself to her poor service. She should be fired. She is absolutely awful.

Total disrespect of my symptoms. Refused to change medication to alleviate symptoms. Stated my symptoms were from being diabetic & not the medication that I had been started on even though it was on the side effects given by pharmacy. I AM NOT DIABETIC even did the labs to prove it. Would go to the ER before ever seeing this Dr again. Steer Clear horrible bedside manner.

I had a nice first visit with Dr. Pollack. I'm 62 and this was for a physical. I found the doctor to be patient, thorough, pleasant and very good about listening and explaining. I particularly appreciated her calm, considered style of discussing health concerns, and her "no pressure", fact based recommendations. I'm in good health and take care of myself, and I appreciate a doctor who clearly wants to help me sustain this health. Two thumbs up for Dr. Pollack in all regards.

Asked me had I ever used a spacer 4 my Asthma meds. I said no, not myself. (daughter had one). Showed it to me and charged me for showing it to me! Asked me if i ever heard of Singulair. Told her I saw commercials in the late 90s. She said it wasn't released until 2005. Checked internet, OH! 1998! I was charged for every question! She explained asthma to me (50+) had asthma all my life. I said, yeah the swelling of tissue in my lungs, she said, no, inflammation. REALLY??

This doctor has a fairly bad bedside manner, which I dealt with several years. I switched doctors after she refused to give me a referral to an endocrinologist. I have fatigue symptoms, on thyroid medicine, and seen an endocrinologist in the past. I cannot conceive why a general practitioner would refuse to refer someone to a doctor with greater subject knowledge. Also was rarely available when I needed an appointment on short notice. Also once forgotten in an exam room for over an hour.
