I remember being Dr. Mathai’s patient before there ever was an Oregon Health DPC. The reason I chose Dr. Mathai is because he never dismissed anything as unimportant. It’s my experience that not many doctors accept fibromyalgia patients and the ones who do usually attribute every symptom to fibromyalgia. My doctor is Doctor McCallum. I have had the privilege of knowing this doctor for over 16 years. I now live in Arkansas and still retain this amazing doctor. She has saved my life in more ways than I can count. She cares deeply for her patience, and she doesn't just push pills at you.
Dr. Mathai is a big part of my health journey. He is so good at listening to his patients, and then working together with them to find helpful solutions. He takes the time to explain everything, and provide you with multiple options when appropriate. Jess is a huge asset and a part of his ability to provide great care.
My session with the EMsella chair was great. I've had bladder leakage for a few years. It slowly got worse the point that I didn't feel comfortable going places as might have a problem. After one session I could feel a difference, but will do some more to help my pelvic floor remember. The staff are really professional. They explained what to expect and made me feel very relaxed.
