I was a Surrogate mother under Dr.Changs care which was being done without the assistance of an agency which helps ensure that all parties are protected and supported. Dr Chang was the final okay and she didnt follow the ASRM guidlines when she agreed to complete the Embryo transfer. She failed to protect me and my well being but rather accomodate to her paying clients which were the Intended parents.

I used Oregon Fertility Institute for outside monitoring for IVF. Dr. Chang and her staff were rude and I felt like I was inconveniencing them by being there. The only staff who were friendly were phlebotomists. Since I was an outside monitoring patient, Dr. Chang required I pay for 1/2 of each visit upfront then the total amount was ran through my insurance. Don’t go here, Dr Chang kept insisting that I needed to lose weight before going through with an iui mind you I’m only 200lbs, they charge you for literally everything but don’t tell you until you need to pay. For instance they charged me $75 to thaw sperm…. Like what? She also told me to purchase 2 vials of sperm and when the appointment came around she said I only needed one, so we purchased that extra one for no reason. I highly recommend Oregon Fertility Institute! Dr. Chang is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. The OFI staff were always responsive and supportive. I was a patient at OFI for close to two years and I truly felt taken care of throughout every step of the way. Dr. Chang took the time to get to know me and figure out a plan that worked best for me. I am currently holding my 10 day old son. He would not exist without Dr. Chang and her amazing staff and I will forever be thankful for them.
