July 10th was like my 5th time coming to Orchid but the first time I was treated like this! I came with my friends and we were all over 21 (i’m 24) and I saw a new lady security guard I have never seen before. She checked my ID and went around the counter to whisper to the ticket seller, look at me, and whisper again. At no point did she speak directly to me. I went during the hush party, it was nice to be able to switch the music And control the volume.
Bar adds tip "service fee" automatically of unknown percentage then has the audacity to ask for tip in addition to the tipped total. When to tip and how much to tip should never be forced on customers this way. Tip is also legally on the pre-tax and pre-tip total, not calculated on top of everything. Just pay your staff properly.
Reviewing solely for CJ and the nice lady working the door The staff was great and friendly, CJ specifically Grrat conversationalist and very kind. Made sure we were done w drinks before collecting them. Really made the experience an experience
