The staff is wonderful but I am saddened that this being my vet who I take all my animals to would not even ask the doctor if he would see my kitten for an emergency visit when I called. Instead I got told to call around and basically good luck. 😞. I would of felt better if at the very least I was put on hold so they could ask the Dr. Rivers. I would of left my kitten there all day if necessary so they could check on her when they had a free minute. Just 😢
Dr. Rivers has been seeing my dogs for several years now. His staff is cari g and understanding. There is no upselling additional procedures and tests he is straight forward and honest. I appreciate that in a vet.
The absolute-BEST care, anywhere. We drive over an hour round-trip, and there’s a ton of reasons why. The staff is talented, the doctors are amazing, and the invoices are more than reasonable. Cannot give them enough praise!
Dr. Rivers is truly amazing. My cat has been going to him for nearly 10 years now, and recently my bulldog. You can tell he really cares and I never feel overcharged. We moved to Salem about 5 years ago, and though my cat hates car rides, we always make the drive. Though we have tried other clinics, there is none Like Orchard for me and my animal babies. <3 Thank you to everyone there!
Best vet clinic in town! Dr. Rivers truly cares about the animals, he even personally called me to check on my puppy. And to top it off he doesn't charge a fortune! Such great service!
I can't thank Dr. Rivers and his staff enough for taking the very best care of my Brooklyn today. They truly care about animals.

I always receive the very best care from Dr. Rivers and his staff. We have 3 dogs and 3 cats and the staff at Orchard Animal Hospital are so kind and always a pleasure to be around.
