RecommendedI just love this place! "Everyone" is so compassionate, empathetic, caring and understanding. Wouldn't take my animals anywhere else.
I had an issue with the receptionist 5 years ago so I went to a different vet and just recently wanted to go back because she no longer was there and was told that they can’t see my dog... that’s fine if you’re going to refuse to help an animal in pain but you should inform people of that when making appointments
I have to say the people at Orchard Animal Hospital are amazing. I am relatively new to this vet but every time I step through the door we are treated like we matter. My boys (Dobermans) are treated with love and not fear, the staff answers my questions without making me feel like it is a cattle call. Working in the pet industry myself for over 25 yrs. Dr. Rivers was my Vet for almost 30 years. Now, living in Springfield and can’t find a good one. I know part of it is my expectations after knowing Dr. Rivers and staff, but still . . . !!!
We love OAH! They have been so kind and gone above and beyond helping us with our needs. We so appreciate them and recommend them to everyone who asks!

Thank you so much for making room for us to bring in our dog for euthanasia with such short notice so we could end her suffering. I also want to let others know that you do not take advantage of those who are in an emergency situation. My experience with your office has always been one of caring and ethics.
The recent passing of my best buddy "Shy" has brought to mind the Consistant, Kind, & Trustworthy care & advise my family & myself have been able to rely on throughout these many years of dealing with Dr. Rivers & Wonderful Staff @ Orchard Animal Clinic. these folks have truly been a blessing <3
We took our puppy in today for her 1st vet check. Everyone was very friendly. Dr. Rivers was great. He spent quality time with us. It was a great experience.
