We were lucky to find Orchard Adult Care Home for our mother. She had been in another care home for 8 years before the owner retired. We were concerned about the stress of moving our 89 year-old mother (who had advanced dementia) to a new location, but Nelson and Josephine and their staff were so good with her, and treated her with such compassion and kindness. I'll try to keep this short and sweet. 5 stars isn't enough. My mother was their first ever resident back in 2021,and I can't recommend Orchard highly enough. Nelson,Josephine,Gladys,and Wisdom are top-notch people. They bent over backwards to accommodate my mother and make sure she felt comfortable and safe. If I,or the others,felt something wasn't right regarding her care,we would sit and have a conversation about it. I cannot say enough good things about Nelson and Josephine with Orchard Adult Care. I had a difficult situation with my father and getting him the care he needed. They were extremely patient and understanding when it took longer than planned to get him settled. They both have a medical background which gave me absolute trust in their care. My family HIGHLY recommends Orchard Adult Care Home for you or your loved one. Our elderly mom was in need of additional care, and could no longer live alone. Nelson, Josephine, and Bernard took wonderful care of our mom until she passed. They treated her like family. Compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable are just a few words to describe them.
