I was thinking about getting a membership to orange theory but wanted to try it out one more time before I get a membership and I am glad I did. You change policies and added a code to your door but when I signed up for the class, I didn’t receive an email or a text message with the code. A member at the Capitol Hill Orangetheory, I was able to drop into this location as my daughter did a day camp at nearby DC Bouldering Project. Here's my experience. 1) Check-In: I registered online using the app, which was easy. The day before my class, I got a text with the door code and asking for me to show up a few minutes early to sign a waiver since it was my first time at this location. I’ve been an Orangetheory member for years and have never been treated like this. I have a heart/blood condition that requires me to keep my phone on my person at all times for medical monitoring. I was not using my phone at all, yet I was still removed from class for having it with me. This location refused to accommodate a legitimate medical disability and is not ADA compliant. I have been a member at OTF Union Market for over three years now, hundreds of classes in (I actually began this workout at a studio across the country). There's no OTF like Union Market, complete with the friendliest staff, the most motivating coaches, and an overall commitment to the highest quality workout and environment.
