I had an unlimited membership at Orangetheory and needed to cancel because I was moving across the country. I was under the impression that the cancellation policy was 30 days, which is how it’s advertised. In reality, that was not my experience. This place fools people!!! Really bad experience. Sarah at the front desk fooled my daughter by signing her up and started deducting money without sharing contract details. The staff is rude and deducted money even after we discontinued classes. Do not join!!!
This place is a SCAM! My wife's experience with this place was very disappointing. While they are eager to get customers to sign memberships through free classes, communication drops off completely after enrollment. Monthly charges began immediately, despite no account activation or support on how to book classes. Canceling was unnecessarily difficult, requiring an in-person visit, paperwork, and a 30-day wait period that often leads to additional charges. They’re eager to offer free classes to get you to sign a membership contract and lock in their rates. But once you sign the contract electronically, communication stops. You’re not even required to create an account or activate your membership through their portal, yet the monthly charges begin immediately. I have nothing but good things to say about this gym. Sydney, Valentine and Dana are great staff members. They were very kind and supportive. If you are looking to getting in serious shape and working towards your goals, this is the place. I took a class with my sister and it was intense! Great energy, fun people and nice overall.
