I'm a regular customer of Orange Hair Braiding and have always received excellent service. Amy and staff have always treated m with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. Amy routinely reaches out to me to inquire about my health, work, and children. I'm a mother of two daughters and we all get our hair done. As a regular customer I have nothing but praise for this salon and it’s owner. The service is amazing and high quality. I have gotten single braids, crochet braids, and twists here and they lasted a long time. The atmosphere and customer engagement is friendly and sincere! Amy the owner always listens to what I ask her to style. I work on a tight schedule, she's always able to schedule me in and get me out quick. I'm new to town and she treats me like family. I appreicate her:-)
I wondered into Amy's shop (Orange Hair Braiding) almost 10 years ago, when she had her old shop located in Cellini plaza. Incidentally, her new location is 771 Campbell Avenue across the street from the Turkish Restaurant. I was timid at first with getting my hair braided, I stuck to wet and wavy 1B hair, even though Amy tried in vain to get me to try new styles and techniques. Whatever you do, DO NOT get crochet braids done at this place. The woman who did my hair did a horrible job. There were so many spaces where she did not install the hair, and also she did a bad job at braiding my hair. My braids lifted up the very next day. She also did not know how to knot the hair properly. I had to go to another salon for them to fix my hair because I did not want her to touch my hair anymore.
