All of the staff here is very friendly and helpful. My surgery went quickly and well although I was not very happy with Dr. Zeitler's bedside manor. She treated me as a child and was not very professional when it came to keeping me relaxed and calm. Although she is very good at what she does, she needs to work on being much more personable. She is to much about business and not enough about making their patients happy and comfortable.
Dr. Pfohl was excellent and made me feel at ease during my extraction and bone graft. He was very easy to work with. I will continue to go to Oral Surgery through the implant process. I will continue to go there for any future oral surgery needs.
Dr. Juhlin and my main nurse, whose name I can't remember (sorry!) did an incredible job on my teeth. This is day two of having all four wisdom teeth pulled and I've only needed Ibuprofen, which is great because I have two little boys to keep up with! This was my first surgery of any kind and I was very nervous, but they handled me so well and were comforting without being patronizing. They genuinely cared about how I was doing. We were able to get an appointment quickly and surgery was scheduled to fit our scedule. Everyone we dealt with was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable.
I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Juhlin remembered my concerns from the consultation and he and his nurse both addressed them first thing. I came home with a prescription, but have only needed ibuprofen - VERY little discomfort! I even told them before leaving I'd do this again. That may have been the IV sedation wearing off, but I did go to my regular dentist today and tell him what a great partnership they have with Oral Surgery Assoc of IC! Thanks!
I highly recommend this facility. Dr. Hartwig kept me fully advised as things progressed and staff were very professional and helpful. Everything went smoothly beyond expectations.
Dr.Pfohl is quick! And the procedure was painless. Wish the recovery was, but the pain pills should take care of that.
