I read good reviews of Dr. Carlis and switched to him with my HMO plan. Big mistake. He is arrogant and unhelpful. His staff is wonderful, but they arent the doctor. I was really sick and ended up in the ER multiple times. He showed no compassion for me as I laid there on the table unable to sit up because I was too sick. He brushed me off as having panic attacks. I ended up in the ER again a few days later. Dr. Carlis is an excellent doctor. I have never waited longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room to see him. He is very busy but the office staff schedules appointments perfectly. He is straight forward but has a heart of gold. He has taken care of my family for 12 years now. He is an excellent pediatric doctor, too. His office staff is the best, they always take care of you, whether its a phone call or squeezing you in for an appointment.
