The Optum Roundhouse location was my primary doctor's office for over 4 years. Nearly every routine visit turned into a billing nightmare, regardless of which insurance provider I had. Even simple annual wellness exams get coded incorrectly with the insurance company and I spent hours trying to get them remedied. All billing issues are handled by an overseas call center that is absolutely ineffective. Kind of funny that the one star ratings are the highest for this facility. I hate checking in! The front desk never seems to be in any hurry or even care to check me in for my apts. I go here because I specifically sought out Dr. Draper after reading some good reviews. But this facility is a joke! I’ve never had a good experience checking in. Took my mom here as she and my dad had used this clinic as a walk in clinic prior, though it has been a couple of years. She's battled a headache with what is likely a severe sinus infection for about 5 days. Convincing her to go to the doctor at all these days is already hard to do. Called by phone first. Current patient here: Called over a week ago & been waiting for a call back. I Called in again this morning since I cant seem to get a call back in trying to find out about testing & vaccines and when the lady called me back she asked if i has insurance. I said yes, should be on my file & is still current/same. I told the lady I've been calling around b/c i cant get ahold of anyone. She said its probably best you go somewhere else! They refused to send a referral to Tricare for services approved by Tricare but required the PCP referral. Optum completely tied our hands so I was forced to change Primary Care Providers..
