I have 13 years medical billing experience; Ambulance, primary care and hospital. Optum is the WORST performing billing department I have encountered including those of two hospitals that went bankrupt. Their telemedicine performance is at best fourth-rate. The office staff is mostly rude and unprofessional. The only organization I have ever dealt with that came close to being this bad was United Healthcare .
