My mother, who has a history of bronchitis and asthma, visited this urgent care because she was having trouble breathing. Dr. Monica Galarza-Adams attended to her. Instead of addressing her respiratory symptoms with care, the doctor told my mother that her cough and breathing issues were due to anxiety and her weight. She went on to say my mom needed to “lose like 50 pounds” and that she would feel great afterward. Sat. June 22, 2025. Afternoon. Feeling awful I thought I should get an antibiotic and I went to this Urgent care. I told the girl at the counter I had laryngitis. She couldn’t get my cc to work because she was sliding it very slowly. I would have told her to swipe it faster but with no voice it was easier to give her other cc’s and fortunately the chip worked.
