Absolute joke. I went here years ago as a teen and was publicly shamed by the therapist in group therapy. I was there due to SEVERE trauma and the therapist made it so much worse. They held me for days longer than they should have. There was ONE nurse there from Haiti that was incredible, otherwise the place was terrible.
I went here around the end ofnNovember 2024 and Id say by far this is the WORST place I've been to. I went there because I was in psychosis. The unit they put me in was awful, everyone that was a patient there hated it. There was probably one staff member who actually cared. And they let people jump other people without showing understanding and acknowledgement. Treated me poorly
Admitted there at 18 and a staff member put together a document of patient phone numbers and passed them out. He continued to contact me for months.
Here's my story I was 13 then im 27 now my family didn't no how bad this place was till this place is not good no matter how much time pass im still scared of the outside world because this place hurt me so bad all they do is dope the people up in there care and lock them up in dark rooms for hours and tie u down to beds. Today i want people to kown how bad places like this are all the same all.
