It's sad that these days there is absolutely no affordable option for gyms in Keene besides planet fitness and planet is not a weight lifters gym. I miss Fit Nation. It was only fifteen bucks a month (not 24 hours but I don't care bout that). I was there a little bit when it was option one but still prices are just terrible. Why do you have to pay a sign up fee on top of the monthly fee (which is already high enough)? I always miss total fitness because that place was only twenty bucks a month. Real Steel Fitness is a great gym and a solid part of the Keene community. The space is clean, the equipment is legit, and the overall vibe is welcoming whether you’re experienced or just getting started. I have been going here for a year and I truly enjoyed my experience here. I liked the availability of it being 24/7. I also liked the equipment here has everything you really need to workout.
Pro: There is never a line to wait for ANYTHING. Con: It’s probably because the gym plays 1950s radio 100% of the time. It weeds out the committed people.
