If you seriously enjoy burning through money/security deposits... i highly recommend this management company! By far the worst experience I've ever had with a rental company before. Blankstein/optimum is not looking out for it's renters.. They try their hardest to screw you out of money either on your security deposit or other expenses! I will never rent from this company ever again. The management never gets back to you via phone or e-mail... Very upset with my experience through optimum.
Excellent People – I was with Optimum Property at 610 E Mason for almost a year. Their response time is excellent for any service requested at apt. Property Manager Jeff and Building Manager Erin are very helpful. After I vacated, I have got my whole Security Deposit back with in 15days time. It shows their promptness. I will HIGHLY recommend them.
Why live here – On some occasions you will find a good deal and go for it. But buyer beware you really do get what you pay for. Be smart and go for the month to month lease....you will want to move. the manager is almost never open and when they are. They are rude and don't give out receipts for the rent you have paid. ying and so forth. I would not recomend these apartments to anyone who likes a friendly atmospher.
Avoid this management at all cost – Very unhappy experience with one the properties they are managing, when they knew that you are going to move out. They will try everything to take advantage of you, requiring you to move out earlier, asking you to pay for electricty for extra weeks, not returning your deposit, etc. I will not get near any properties that Optimum managed! Be aware!!
