Signing up for optimal health was the best decision I have made. I have been working with NP Chantelle Oostwoud and she changed my life. I have been told by other doctors that I’m crazy and that everything is in my head but Chantelle took me seriously, sent me for all the tests needed and found my struggles. She has helped me tremendously and never gave up on my case. I am beyond grateful for her dedication and her willingness to help others, she truly made a difference In my life.
The first time since the 1990s that a doctor spent more than 5 minutes speaking to me. Its expensive, yes, but the quality of OHIP care in Ontario has fallen off a cliff. It might take me literally years and years using public healthcare to get results. Just for the fact of actually being heard, its absolutely worth the price.
I’ve had a great experience across the board at Optimal. It’s clear that patient experience is a top priority—booking appointments and communicating with the team and nursing staff is easy and efficient. I’ve been especially impressed with NP Oostwoud. She is knowledgeable, capable, and compassionate. I really appreciate her approach to care—she focuses on identifying root causes and takes a proactive, rather than reactive, approach to my health.
