I don’t know how to go about this or what I should do in this circumstance… I had to go over to the Dallas Optimology clinic at UTSW I used to have a great doctor there then he left. Long story short I have two masses on my right optic nerve as well as some problems with my left eye…. I did a lot of testing yesterday 3/20/2025 than saw Dr.Liu… the lack of compassion she had she was in the room for maybe two minutes told me I m legally blind in my right eye tried to tell her what was going on and she ignored it. We received a call and text from this clinic on Mar 20, 2024 telling us the we got a referral and wanted us to call them. I returned their call and text and made an appointment for April 23 today. On Wednesday April 17, we got a text from this clinic to confirm our today’s appointment and asked us to be in their clinic half an hour earlier. We came to this clinic after traveling about 30 miles from home and when we arrived the staff said, that they did not have an authorization. UT Southwestern is by far the most competent and efficient group by far, but it's a double-edged sword. There is a long wait to get in BECAUSE they are the best in the metroplex. I feel for the people leaving bad reviews because they don't understand that most of their problems revolve around the nasty insurance system. Patients and doctors alike are at their mercy. Go where you want, but I'm sticking with these guys. They're doing it right!

My doctor referred me to two doctors here and each rejected my care for no reason. Doctors should care more about helping people these days. The customer service when I called to book was terrible. While talking they hung up on me just for me to call back and be on hold another 10 minutes and be told that neither doctor is taking on patients. Just stop doing business if you're no servicing people that need help. Never going here.
