Dr. Verb is a kind, competent Opthalmologist. Has been taking excellent care of my dad. Provides the latest technology / standards of care. Highly recommend, will be taking mom to him as well.
I had an appointment with Dr. Albear and I wasn't impressed. The main problem I have with this doctor is that he did not use exam gloves when touching my face and eyes. When I mentioned it to him, he simply replied that he uses hand sanitizer all throughout the day. Really? I didn't see you use any sanitizer or even wash your hands when he entered the exam room. Came in being told I needed immediate attention by my optometrist for an eye ulcer. Was told they didn't have their cornea specialist around and even if the specialist was around they couldn't help anyways because they needed to get cultures from my eyes. Fine, made sense. Was instead told by them to go to the ER because "they could do something for me". Thank god I didn't listen to them. Went back to my optometrist and was told the ER couldn't do anything for me and sent me somewhere else that immediately got me in for an e... read more
