I drove here for an appointment a couple weeks ago and when I arrived less than 5 minutes late the lab worker had already taken a person in front of me. I had to wait 20 minutes for my appointment after fasting all night/morning. She then informed me that she couldn’t do one of the tests. I got additional info from my Dr and scheduled an appointment 2 weeks later. Again I had to fast so my appointment was early in the morning. I showed up on time and the office was closed! Fraudulent activities: Undisclosed fees. Waste of time. Was dark when I arrived. Avoid this place at all costs!

This place is a joke, I called last week and made an appointment for today, Monday. I drove from Castro Valley to find a note on the door that it was “COSED” today. They can’t even check for grammatical errors let alone show up for a set appointment.

They lost their phlebotomist, which is fine except the told me it was open when I called the centers number. This was after coming from the same companies location in Lafayette in which no one showed up. So I drove around for two hours because this company can’t function properly.

The Walnut Creek location of the Open Medicine Institute rents space in another practitioner's office. Staff at this location of the Open Medicine Institute have been no-shows for a few days, leaving patients in the lurch and leaving the other practitioner graciously trying to refer all the patients who are showing up for lab tests to other phlebotomists.
