We had the pleasure of working with Katie and open bionics. Katie was so easy to talk to and put our 6 year old son at ease during the appointment for his Hero Arm fitting and assessment. Even though he was a little bit nervous she was able to joke with him and help him relax. Our son is now asking when is the next time he gets to see Katie. We are hoping she will be there when he eventually receives his much anticipated Hero Arm!
It was a great experience meeting Katie at the pop-up event in San Francisco. I have wanted to learn more about Open Bionics for a while, and I was thrilled to find out that I am a good candidate for the Hero Pro. Cannot express how amazing Katie was during my pick up of my new prosthetic! Within seconds she made me feel so comfortable and was so thoughtful in helping me get use to my new hand! From being patient and encouraging to lighthearted and genuine I had such a great experience. I feel very supported and looking forward to this new experience in prosthetics!
