I unfortunately had a different prosthetic team in the beginning but when I met Elise with Hero Arms I dropped the other team instantly. Elise listened to me and took everything I wanted and everything I was personally going through at the time into consideration. I’m a quad amputee with bad skin integrity and one arm cut shorter than the other with more scarring so it’s hard for the sensor to detect what my muscles are doing and I get frustrated. I had an incredible experience with Open Bionics, starting in Colorado. During my two appointments with Elise, she carefully reviewed my prosthetic history and understood my goals. We used a trial kit to practice muscle contractions necessary to operate the Hero Arm and took measurements for the liner.
