Have you ever been to a restaurant where you wish it could be your home? The welcome was warm the smell of cooking enveloped you on entry? The feeling of a beautiful home from home with the extravagance of excellent food exceeds all other. From the time you walk in to the time you walk out you are a very happy valued guest Ooooh and the chefs special menu is unbelievably tasty ( an understatement ) Philillipe you are the best ! Amazing!
Lovely decor, great location but the staff doesn't make you feel welcome if you aren't a regular. I've been there three times and each time I was treated poorly. Whether seeking a cocktail at the bar (waitresses being pushy to usher people out of the dining area), dinner (waiter watching water glasses standing empty and food delivered cold), or a group dinner (refusing to print separate checks and neglecting late arrivals for food), the staff drags down this rating. Not worth the sticker price.
What is not to like? Excellent service, fantastic wine list, food is fantastic, wonderful atmosphere!!! One of the absolute best in Santa Barbara
