Opal 28 is a locally owned boutique event space including two great rooms, full service bar and private outdoor patio. The building, originally built in 1908 carries much of the vintage charm in both the event space and upstairs vacation rentals. Opal 28 also has an on site kitchen, flexible in house or off site catering options and a full service bar. The event space hosts weddings, receptions, meetings, and various other events ranging from an intimate dinner for 15 people to a cocktail party for 120.

RecommendedGreat event space. Loved the patio
I did photography for the local heroes Pdx event here and it was so nice, the the bartender went out of her way to make me coffee and really cool to me. It’s a beautiful venue super clean and comfortable place. I highly recommend it
OMG! We just had the MOST amazing brunch! Food was delicious, staff was fabulous and it’s the best event space around. Thank you all for a perfect ending to our incredible weekend!!!

Opal 28 is an amazing place to have a wedding. Margot the owner and her team are fantastic. It is like having your own personal coordinator. Fantastic space for us.
Opal 28 and the entire crew were awesome to work with. They were extremely efficient with communication. The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect.

Great venue for events, parties, weddings and more. On site bar, 2 separate rooms inside and an outdoor patio. Once inside the venue you don't realize how in the city you are. The staff are friendly and practically invisible. You set your dirty plate down and poof, it disappears. Highly recommend.
