The quality for the price is unmatched for this type of Japanese cuisine.
Atmosphere was elegantly classic Japanese but not pretentious. Service was friendly and efficient but not obsequiously so. Food was beautifully presented and scrumptious. The wagyu beef was tougher than expected. Tasty though. The homemade tofu was really something to try. The sashimi was excellent. Pricey no question. But beautiful and delicious. Go try.
You know a restaurant is beyond great when you can take your 100 year old grandmother for her first Japanese cuisine experience and a father who is an extremely picky eater and they both devour everything on their plates. Our server, like a master surgeon, was able to quickly provided a great introduction to the world of Japanese cuisine by cutting away items off the menu that he new would not be pleasing to my families tastebuds.
