Onyx and East is a consumer focused, high quality, reputable homebuilder. Their employees care, and have been very accommodating and knowledgeable during the construction process.
EXCELLENT service from a builder. Adam Bain helped me with a townhome that I just purchased that Onyx and East constructed a few years ago. We had some flooring issues and some HVAC issues and he went above and beyond to resolve these issues for me in less than two weeks. You never see that from a builder, this company is terrific.
High-quality construction, constant attention to detail, and weekly progress reports—thanks to Chad Horkay and his team, we highly recommend Onix as an experienced and professional builder.
**Update December 2025** After having several issues with our washer and dryer, we learned that our dryer ventilation was installed violating two separate Indiana residential building codes posing a significant fire risk. The repair company even pointed out to the dryer warning label to us that was ignored during install in favor of the O&E contractors opting for a cheaper, non-heat resistant vent. My advice, don’t build with O&E. Let someone else be the first buyer and they’ll find all the pitfalls/shortcuts that were taken... read more
