Bad Place I was there once to pick up two emaciated horses and was not impressed at all with the place. The stall that the two horses were in was run down and shabby and way too small for 2 horses. I will never go back there again. I can't believe the city doesn't have codes that this place has to adhere to. A real dump. God help any of the animals that are unfortunate enough to go thru this place.
Horrific Torture and Abuse!! This place needs to be "" SHUT DOWN ""!! THE HORRIFIC ABUSE & TORTURE BEING DONE TO THESE ANIMALS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!! BUY YOUR ANIMALS SOMEWHERE ELSE! NO ANIMAL SALES, NO MONEY FOR ONTARIO LIVESTOCK SALES! NO MONEY MEANS THE BUSINESS GETS SHUT DOWN. THESE PEOPLE WHO HIT, KICK, TORTURE, AND ABUSE THESE POOR SICK ANIMALS WILL SPEND TIME IN JAIL, AND HOPEFULLY AN ETERNITY IN HELL. I WANTED TO LEAVE " ZERO " STARS, BUT WAS FORCED TO LEAVE 1 OTHERWISE THE POSTING CAN'T BE SUBMITTED.
Unpleasant conditions for animals I have been here a couple of times, to evaluate two starving horses abandoned here, on behalf of a local horse rescue. I have NOT witnessed the actual auction itself, but have been present while a significant number of animals (goats and pigs) were still on the grounds following a sale. Conditions appeared to be dirty, although I also did witness pens being cleaned of manure. There was a dead goat in one pen next to the horses I was visiting. Water troughs and contents were green. Not a good place for animals The holding conditions for animals here leaves a lot to be desired. Not enough shade from the hot sun, dirty smelly water. You might even see a dead goat or sheep. You will definitely see skinny horses for sale here, that should not be allowed to go through auction. Horses do not end up going to good homes from here.
