Extremely disappointed with my experience. During my exam, the doctor inserted the otoscope into my ear very forcefully to the point that it caused immediate pain. My ear continued to be painful for several days afterward!!!!! I've never had an ear exam cause lingering pain before! I was also caught off guard when the doctor suddenly grabbed my nostril with tool to examine my nose without any explanation or warning that he was using a tool. Brought my newborn in for a tongue tie procedure and when I asked simple questions about the procedure/recovery I was met with sarcastic remarks like “what do you think?” Or “what did I just say?” When I needed clarification and reassurance. On a procedure MY NEWBORN CHILD was receiving. Instead of being treated like a concerned parent, I was met with a sarcastic tone and dismissed for asking completely reasonable questions. The other reviews did not lie. My wife recently had ear surgery and it later got infected. Around thanksgiving she was told to give Dr. Lau a call for her ear and he completely just brushed her off like nothing. No at home steps, No medicine recommendations just a simple if it’s not an emergency don’t call. Today 1/12/26 She had an appointment with him due to her ear leaking puss and pain. Omg the reviews are real, please avoid this doctor. Worst doctor. I told him I have Crohn’s disease and he gave me an antibiotic that made my crohns worse. Even after explained that I have crohns.
Very rushed session. I should’ve read these reviews before going to Dr. Lau. He told me it must be a cold before even checking me. Had clogged ear and he said it was “a little wax”it’s clear so no problems. I still feel the clogged sensation. Then he told me “ok, you can leave now” it was truly a waste of time.
