I hate to do this but if I dont,there will be no growth. I did not enjoy the vegan cookies at all. The cookies lacked construction and flavor. Also, tasted old. I got them at Juneteenth so maybe they were prepared days in advance. Its a no for me.
Delicious vegan bakery treats!
We tried Onifade’s bakery and it’s worth the drive. The young man who owns it was working behind the counter. He was very patient and offered samples while we browsed. His story and awards are also on the wall to read and learn about him. We tried 4 different kinds. Smores, lemon bar, white macadamia nut, & salted caramel cookies. We ate almost all them in the car before driving off. If you like lemon, check out his lemon bars BEST I have ever eaten.
I ordered a Vegan German Chocolate Cake with ganache for my mom’s birthday. Ordering online was a breeze even though I messed up and scheduled it for the wrong date. Onifade’s was great to work with me on the pickup date and time. They were super friendly and the price was great. The cake was absolutely decadent! There were only three of us eating so it took close to 3 weeks to finish it and it was good to the last bite!! I’m not a vegan so I’m always skeptical when I share dessert with my vegan mom. I cannot recommend Onifade’s Bakery highly enough. My sister and I purchased a German chocolate cake for our mom’s birthday, and it was—without exaggeration—the best German chocolate cake I have ever had. The cake was incredibly rich and well-balanced, with a chocolate ganache that, frankly, stood out as the star. Despite how indulgent it was, I genuinely could not tell that it was vegan.
