If I could rate this company a ZERO I would. This company (as stated in previous comments) is a RIP-OFF! No question about it. I have been at my complex for less than a year & within that time my **** has jumped from $50 to $170. With no rhyme or reason. They are trying to blame it on inflation! Really? No that doesn't fly! I will be filing a complaint with BBB
If I could give zero stars I would. This company is a total rip off. I have been at my apartment complex for 2 years. My **** has consistently been in the range of *******. Now all of a sudden my **** jumps to 243. There are no leaks in my apartment. There are no new habits in my apartment. The only explanation I got was that they are now getting a clear reading. So you want me to believe you were estimating my **** for a year and a half. I had three high bills one of which two of the three people in my household were gone f... read more
In my opinion, the BBB needs to conduct a thorough investigation on "One Point Technologies, Inc." I believe this company is scamming consumers out of their hard-earned money by tacking on made-up, frivolous charges onto bills. So far I have received two $35 "set-up fees," one $25 "late fee" although my payment was made 2 days before the due date, and a random $6 "last bill" fee. On top of all of that, I somehow always owe no less than $125 for water and sewer for an apartment in which I am the sole occupant. I have never pa... read more
I live in a one bedroom apartment and I pay almost on average 80.00 dollars a month. According to customer service they charge by building unit and not by individual unit. I pay more in a month then a lot of people do in a house for 3 months. OnePoint charges a $6 Resident Portal Fee and $3 Service Fee and another $3 dollar fee to pay online. In addition to a $12 disposal fee and a $3 pest fee. These are all monthly fees for a one bedroom apartment. No one in my unit uses this much water for the month and they are overchargi... read more
This is the company that provides water billing services for the condo community that I live in. From the onset, I felt that their rates and $3.50 monthly service fee were high but I decided that there wasn't a lot that I could do about it because they are the selected provider. After a full year of service and on-time payments, I made the mistake of paying my bill late by a matter of 3-4 days. It was my mistake and I acknowledge that in the midst of this pandemic, I simply forgot. I fully expected there to be a late fee but... read more
One Point Technologies has been overcharging us for a temporarily vacant residence for water bills exceeding 300.00 / month. We have been attempting to get resolution and refund for 3 months. The receptionist 'escalates' our complaint to "Dan" but he never returns the call. Over two months ago, we shut the valve off going into the home the next 2 bills showed more than 15,000 gallons usage for the 2 months with over 400.00 in charges. There is a severe problem here in their billing process and in customer service and follow ... read more
I have been dealing with One Point for several years now. Every time I have a concern, I call and it is handled right away. I see a lot of poor reviews about service fees etc however I got fees from utility providers when I lived in a home. Some of the fees are set and directed by owners of properties that you are living in. I expect to pay service fees and late fees to any utility provider. If I pay a credit card payment late, the fees are very high as well. Overall, I rate this company very high. Their customer service and... read more
Although I can't directly speak to the quality of utility services OnePoint provides, as it is managed by my HoA, I can safely say that the representative in charge of handling my issue was MORE than helpful after a pretty bad experience I had once moving into my property. After a string of terrible experiences with my HoA that dragged on for a year, I have to say that my customer service representative (Daniel W.) in charge of handling our property utilities at OnePoint was more than helpful with getting a chunk of my late... read more
Business response:
We appreciate the kind words from Mr. ******** and encourage others with positive experiences to provide feedback as well as we do value the input and forward this information to our representatives!
This company is the epitome of a bad business. I live in an amazing apartment community in Nashville, Tennessee and we are forced to pay water, sanitation, pest control, etc. via OnePoint. Let's lay out the basics here: This company has inconsistent due dates. They seem (based on what I've found) to bill on a 28 day cycle, so our due date is never the same. This means we essentially could have--on any given month--two bills in one month. They have no "grace period" for payments. Nor do they offer auto pay. So let's day our ... read more
