I found Doctor Chowla through an internet search for the closest doctor to me who treats spider veins and followed up with a call to the office to confirm that he indeed does the treatment. The receptionist confirmed that he does and that I would need a referral from my primary care physician. After getting the referral, and an appointment I then took time off from work, drove 27 miles and paid a $35.00 copay (and have since received a bill for an additional $15.00) only to be told that spider vein treatment is not his speci... read more
Dr. Chawla has shown up a half hour late on two separate occasions to my appointments. Clearly has no value of anyone else's time but his own. Even the staff portrayed that this was nothing new and an ongoing issue. I will gladly drive to Syracuse to see someone else knowing that my time will not continue to be wasted. If you can't show up to work in the morning, you aren't in the right profession.
