I usually visit the bus drives but glad I went to this location today. Cindy and Yashica were very skilled, efficient, and personable. Nice clean facility and I was greeted immediately even though they were tending to other donors. They showed care for me before, during, and after donation. I will definitely return.
The staff is very personable and professional, answered all my questions, made me feel appreciated
Never received gift for donating. Donated blood over two weeks ago on the bus. Was told the physical Howl-O-Scream tickets were all gone for the day, and they would send the ticket through the mail. They did not. The ticket was never sent, and no one returned my call to the Leesburg location to find out what's going on. I was willing to pick it up in person, but there was no care from the Leesburg office.
This is a large busy donation center in the corner of an easy to access shopping center. The staff is friendly and efficient. It takes just a few minutes if you have an appointment, though some days there could be a wait if there are several walk-ins. They have free bottled water, Gatorade and juice along with many snacks to replenish after donating, but be sure to eat a good healthy breakfast and drink plenty of water before your appointment. I donate here therapeutically every four weeks and always have nothing but the best experiences. Everyone has been very friendly and kind, the girl who took my blood today was especially so. Very professional and sweet. She’s taken my blood twice now and both times I didn’t even feel the needle come out afterwards. Don’t leave many reviews but felt it necessary this time.
