I will continue to donate platelets somewhere but I'm never going back to this location. Among other reasons, an employee literally got distracted talking to another man and stuck the needle in me without disinfecting my arm first. Then played it off by asking if I'd showered that day.

New hours starting March 1, 2025. So check them. Staff is very helpful. Well kept and friendly environment, limited parking spaces but easy access. Stop in and become a donor or stop in at a Red Bus location all across Jacksonville area. They will set you up with text services to know where donation area are. This is their main office. You can schedule an appointment different way- use the website and sign up or stop in their office.

Brittany and Allison were a blast! Inviting as soon as we walked in, personal and professional throughout the process. The other locations can be dingy and depressing when you go in there but not these two! Definitely an asset to the One Blood team!
