I have donated 105 gallons of platetlets over the past 21 years, at the Brandon FL site, I know most of the people that work there, a several of the donors, kind of like family, sometimes I get turned away as they have enough, I do not do it for the gifts, most I do not take, I do it knowing it will help save a life or reduce suffering, of someone, well take care, GOD BLESS !!!

I have donated blood at work many many times in the past with no issues. Today it took well over an hour and was not crowded. That's a lot of time out of my office. Also the techs I dealt with had zero personality. One said absolutely nothing to me while the other I could hardly understand through his thick accent. On top of that, the needle was quite painful, an issue I have never had before. I would suggest some customer service training and a little more urgency on the part of the techs.

Just received my One Gallon Donor appreciation sticker & thank-you! One week ago a tragic loss of life and an immediate need for blood took place in our own backyard at FLL. Imagine that any one of us could have been a victim...

My mom Susan Johnson works in St. Petersburg One Blood team and she is amazing at her job! Not just that, this is saving someone's life. I have experienced her services before and I had no pain at all. The team work is wonderful too. Seeing everyone work together and being so kind snd nice to any and every customer who donates is a plus!
