The surgeons, nurses, aids, and all the staff are wonderful! They go above and beyond!!
Could use a little more assistance from techs. seem to busy to do complete job. Hard to use one arm, told not to use one and was served sandwiches in boxes and left. Empty boxes and cups not removed. Nurses all were professional and thorough and helped improve the experience. Security, though needed seems a little over the top. Heart treatment room appeared excellent and treatment was excellent.
Clean up. Dirty bathrooms, poop inside toilet in waiting room 4th floor. No cups or coffee. Toilet seats in main floor and 4th floor restrooms old and stained. Elevator is slow and inconsistent in operation . Little to no comforting care from nurses. Husband had iv in both arms. It was late but they just laid a sandwich on the table and walked away. They brought him ice water and just left old cups all over the table, no clean up. The 4th floor area smelled.

The staff was pleasant and acted quickly. Didn't have to wait at all before getting to a room in the ER. within minutes the nursing staff came in and shortly after the Dr was there. I recommend to my family and friends to go to the Winter Haven hospital.
I have had 3 surgeries since June 25th. was admitted for 3 days following 1st surgery. I can through the ER and I have only good things to say about all my stays at whh. plus the food is good.
The best nurse was Kaylee she was so caring she measured the swelling of my arm that other nurses did not do. she just made me feel very special as a patient she was very very good nurse I recommended her for one of them special nominations that you fill out and I hope she wins because she really deserves it I think so. If I'm ever there again hope she is one of my nurses again.💖😇💝 I could go on but I think you get my point. Need nurses like her alot of heart and care I thought she was great. iccu room 12
