DO NOT RENT HERE. Posting this now that I have gotten my deposit back and CRP for taxes because I wouldn't put it past management to withhold it. Lived here from mid 2021- mid 2025 and the building fell apart during that time. Our bedroom was freezing every winter because there was a crack in the concrete outside our unit that we were told would get fixed. Deb is insufferable. Sits around all day having an attitude when anyone comes to ask anything. Can’t get packages sorted when they come meanwhile she does nothing but sit there grumpy in the office. All of a sudden decides package sorting is when the 3pm employee shows up or lots of the times just leaves it for next shift to deal with. I don’t understand. Coming from someone who was a property manager previously at some notably large buildings here in Minneapolis, I would NOT recommend this property to anyone in good faith. Great location and guest parking for a difficult neighborhood to find street parking in, but those are the only saving graces. We have lived in the building since 2019 and at this point live here for convenience of not moving, but it certainly comes with its costs, notably little to no communication with management and maintenance. The building is old and with that comes inherent problems. Overall, the staff does the best they can given their resources, although communication between office management and the residents is at best subpar and very selective (will communicate about some issues but not others). This leaves the residents in the dark and causes unnecessary frustration. Location is prime.
