Living at One South Market has been a great experience thanks to the central downtown location and how easy it is to get everywhere. The team on-site is friendly and attentive, and it really shows in how well the building is cared for.
We’ve been living here for slightly over a year. What started as a pretty nice apartment complex has degraded into a weirdly inconvenient place to stay over the past few months The front desk is never staffed for the past 2 months. This was advertised as a building where someone would be present 24/7, so having no one at all is unacceptable. The leasing office has some serious management issues. 1 Star — If I could give zero, I would. Stay FAR, FAR away. I’ve lived in this building long enough to see it fall apart, and management has made it very clear they do not care about their residents. • No hot water for TWO MONTHS. I reported the issue immediately. It took them almost one full month just to acknowledge the complaint. Meanwhile, I’m paying “luxury” prices to take freezing showers. • Disgusting plumbing issues. Very poorly managed, on our move day they gave us keys that don’t work. When we tried moving in with all our boxes and couldn’t get in there was no one at the office, they “emergency maintenance” number leads to no one, even the voicemail isn’t set up so we couldn’t leave a message asking for help. This place has a facade of luxury but the experience is awful.
Be aware packages get stolen here from locker room and leasing office won't cooperate to do anything about it. Delivery personnel can remove packages from locker room to fit in new packages and there's no systematic tracking system in place for the replaced packages.
