EXTREMELY forthcoming with information, even though he's very busy. A good person to know and bounce things off of.
Nick knows bikes. If the unexpected happens during repair work, he adjusts and adapts using his vast knowledge in the shop. You can tell it comes natural for him. He works quickly and efficiently. He dismantled my bike, pulled the motor, did some welding, did the repair, then reassembled my entire bike in a single 8 hour session. The bike was immediately roadworthy after leaving his shop - I know this because I immediately rode it for 8 hours to get back home. Don't hesitate - go see Nick!
Took my Yamaha Stratoliner to Nicholas Easterday at One Off Custom Designs for installation of a 122ci big bore kit, bigger cam, stage 2 heads, ported throttle bodies and intakes. While at his shop dropping off the bike I saw all the other insane projects he was working on like the quad-turbo Vmax. I knew then I couldn't have my bike there and not install a turbo, so I had him also install 2 turbos. Final result was 175hp & 184.5 torque. This dude. Where do I start? He is the only person I’ve ever met that actually tried to understand what it is I wanted out of a custom motorcycle. I must’ve changed my mind 40 different times on the direction I want to go in but he was always very accommodating. I was lucky enough to have Nick build my old KZ1000 and it turned out beautifully.
