good food, bad service The slow service at this place prevents me from giving it more stars. Even when the restaurant is not that full I have always experienced long waits. Once the food actually arrives, all is well because it has always tasted good. I guess you just shouldn't come hungry or in a hurry.
So So The food is ok but the location is convenient for those who work downtown. I have never had a bad meal here but never a wonderful meal either
One North is great for quick power lunch or after work drinks. Great downtown location. Noisy atmosphere. Food is good--nothing special. Service is pretty fast. Great to go for a quick power lunch. Great place for after work drinks.
They were closed for remodeling when I tried to go. Supposed to re-open in the spring.

We had a reservation for 2 for over a week and only offered a table 2 feet inside the main entrance. There were a ton of empty seats. The hostess didn’t even attempt to find another table for us. We left and won’t be back.
Our book club were headed to West Side Story at the Lyric Opera House. It was a matinee so we had lunch at One North before the play. The food was excellent and our waiter took on our table of 9 women with humor, grace and ease. For our rowdy group that is not an easy task. He went by the name of Hugo Monteleone. I would highly recommend and will definitely go to eat there again when in Chicago. We took the train in to Chicago and this restaurant is only a few blocks away.
Loved the filet sliders! Great service!
Great food, great service and atmosphere! We really enjoyed our dinner, will come back for sure.
