came in for a french tip gel pedicure and a regular manicure with no polish. I am a nail tech myself, so i typically go to salons for prep for my next gel x set on myself. I was charged $17 for a polish-less manicure and mediocre clean up. The whole reason i go to the salon for a manicure is because it's hard to effectively do my right hand and get a clean base. This place deserves only one-star reviews. It was the worst experience of my life, and I deeply regret going there. It was disrespectful that the woman forced me to leave a 20% tip, which isn't even mandatory. I would have gladly left a tip of whatever amount I wanted if I had been happy with the service and the work, but it was terrible. No one has ever forced me to leave a tip before; nobody tells me what to do with my money. Update - I have been coming to this nail salon for over a year, and I did really love my experience until today. I was charged an extra five dollars for the last chemical nail polish, so my regular manicure was over $20 and this is what it looks like. Extremely bumpy, looks really terrible honestly. I’m so disappointed. And will never be back. Very clean, and enjoyable manicure and pedicure. Staff was very helpful and kind. I will definitely be coming back!
