I was charged $500+ for a routine preventative care appointment (pap smear) because the provider double-billed the appointment. Contesting the charge has been a considerable time sink. I would strongly recommend against receiving care here.
Beware: visiting a “One Medical” clinic as a member *or* nonmember may result in excessive, unexpected charges far exceeding the normal cost of care. Typically a Bay Area urgent care facility will charge $200-300 maximum for a single, simple visit (no tests etc, just a consultation with a doctor or nurse). Upon visiting this One Medical location, I was on a 2 week trial membership and was told the cost of my visit was included - or $0.
